Guelph Lab is dedicated to tackling big problems facing our city. We focus on issues that are relevant to the community and require municipal action – whether that’s changing policies or bylaws or developing new programs and services.

 

The challenges we take on involve:

• Collaboration - Complex problems need diverse perspectives. The Lab brings together people from across sectors — like government, business, nonprofits and communities — to work together. 

• Research - There are no one-size-fits-all answers. We study the problem and potential solutions at every stage—before, during and after taking action.

• Experimentation - The best way to learn what works is to try it. The Lab tests new ideas, tracks results, and helps scale what works.
